This site is owned and operated by the Thayer County Historical Society and Museum.

Our Mission Statement: To discover and collect any material which may help establish or illustrate the history of Thayer County and its surrounding area and to preserve and promote the history of this region.

Those wishing to support the historical society to help preserve Thayer County history are encouraged to become a member.

            Membership dues per year are:

            Individual    $10.00

            Family          $15.00

            Supporting    $25.00

            Business        $50.00

 Membership fees are due at the annual meeting of the society which is held in the spring of the year.
